PSU has many campuses, some with athletics.

OK, thanks. I guess no different than Minnesota's system then. Do you know what division they wrestle in?
Some of the PSU campuses have teams that compete in the NCWA - National Collegiate Wrestling Association. This consists mainly of club teams at campuses that have an NCAA squad and full teams at universities that drop (or can't sponsor) an NCAA team. UCF, UF, Oregon, etc, and the D1 teams at Fresno State and Grand Canyon (now dropped again) competed in the NCWA at first. Rankings, National Duals, Post league -- everything, except coverage.
While all of the Commonwealth campuses compete in the PSUAC, the club team at University Park (where the Cael Sanderson-coached team is) joins them in NCWA competition. The students on the team get some money from the University, but a lot of the money they use for competition, like lodging, tournament registration, and transportation, has to be raised themselves.
Scotty Stossel on the team competed on the club team his freshman year and took 3rd at NCWA Nationals.
