What can we do about o-line for 2016?

Just one idea and I ask if this would improve the o-line. IMO we should move Nelson inside to guard. Team him with Mahon and we have two kids on the inside who are 4th year guys with two years of starting experience under their belts. Both are big and presumably strong in the 6-4/6-5, 300-315 range. IMO Nelson is a decent tackle but not great as he lacks the quickness you would like to have at that position. Obviously Laurent will be the C. So on the interior we would have a 5th year senior and two 4th year JR and all have a lot of starting experience. They are backed up by a pair of third year guys in Brosnan and Wright and one should expect 3rd year kids are ready to play and provide legit depth. Move Gaia or Dowrey or both to DT to provide the veteran depth we will need at that position. One more thing about Nelson. If he has a chronic knee injury then moving him to G is wise as we will have some decent depth there to help when Nellie needs a week off. At T when he goes down we are forced to start moving guys around.
At T Palmer will be bigger and stronger at LT, open up the RT spot to a competition between Beh, Sorrell and Jenkins. Let the best man win. For the sake of discussion let's say Beh wins the job. That gives us a pair of 6-6, 300+ pound athletic tackles. If injuries occur and the young backup T's are not ready you can move Nelson or Mahon back to T.
There was a good discussion on the board yesterday about the fact that our line does not pass the looks test. IMO with a good offseason a line of Palmer, Nelson, Laurent, Mahon and Beh absolutely passes that test in spades. It would be an experienced line with just 1 new starter at RT. It gives us a chance to begin working in the younger guys like Sorrell, Jenkins, Wright and Brosnan. If Gonzalez and Bates can help, that's a bonus.
I think we need to move from a philosophy of just trying to put guys out there who can be serviceable to a strategy of putting guys out there who gave a chance to actually be solid to above average at their positions.
Thoughts?
