I appreciate your post and interest. However, for me, there is no way I could be LESS interested in any HOF. I have more interest in the Miss Universe pageant, which is similar but has eye candy. Joe Thomas rant on about his challenges and playing days carries no weight or value for me.

He's already played six and is playing at his peak right now. Hard to imagine he doesn't play a few more years, assuming he stays healthy.
Not really. There is the issue of specific players and the notion of the hall of fame in general. I was stating that the HOF has become a joke and is simply a beauty pagaent. In the old days, I paid attention. Today, the games have changed so much, there is little relavance to what a 600 home run hitter, a 200 hit in a season hitter, a 100 yard game, a 1000 yard season, a 3,000 yard passing season....the rules have made these baselines (not to mention the PEDs) useless. So today, they just vote in whomever they want to sell tickets and clicks on that day.
