Would have he Redshirted, played Special Teams, RB or LB?

With Ki-Jana, Archie and Pitts, it's hard to rationalize he would have played RB.

Redshirting would have seemed like a real option, despite how good he was.

Enis could have covered kickoffs and punts, and returned kickoffs with Archie.

But, could have Enis provided depth at LB behind seniors Willie Smith, Gelzheizer and Yeboah-Kodie?

He prob plays LB on that team. Heck, didn't he start summer camp in 95 at LB? Before realizing he was needed and better at RB

I belive Cappelletti played DB when Franco Harris and Lydell Mitchell were ahead of him. Man, we were "loaded" until we hit the 21st century.

Enis opened the 1995 season vs Texas Tech at LB, if I remember correctly. Stephen Pitts was a superb RB, good enough to beat out Carter to open 1992, so Enis played LB as a true freshman in 1995. Then Pitts suffered another injury, opening the door to Enis to become a sensation at RB. Pitts is one of those players who had so much ability but was unable to string injury-free seasons together to show it.

I also think that Enis played some fullback before solidifying his position at TB.

There was a kid who was a freshman on that team who also played some DE and then fullback - wore #49. I think he was starting, and then something happened (girlfriend pregnant?) and he left the team - not sure if he transferred to a smaller school closer to home or not.

Anthony Cleary? Not sure he was on the '94 team though

Cleary transferred as a senior in 1998. He may have been a freshman in 1994 and redshirted somewhere in his PSU career. If you watch highlights of Enis and Aaron Harris you can see Cleary (#49) throwing a lot of key blocks, especially in short yardage situations.
