Agreed. But man it’s hard to bet against Snyder. Captain America has elevated his game since last year (again!). It will take a rocket scientist to figure out how to beat Snyder. Enter Major Coon. He has the formula to win. Question is whether he’ll be able operationalize that winning formula (again). To me this matchup boils down to minor adjustments and who will do that better Saturday night. I’m pulling for Coon. Snyder can go on to achieve every other conceivable wrestling feat after that on a global scale while Coon dilly dallies in a spaceship somewhere, or enters the NFL as some have predicted.
Just my opinion, but if Captain America needs a major, that would force him into too many bad shots, which could lead to his demise. He doesn't want to get stuck underneath a 300 lb skilled wrestler that many times in 7 minutes.
I believe it will take a great match for Snyder to win a close decision. If a major is needed for the team title & Snyder goes all in for a major, boy that would certainly make for some drama. It seems the risk needed to win by major would lead to a much greater chance for a Coon victory. If my math is correct, Cap would need 5 td plus rt at minimum. What are the odds?
One big difference I noticed between match 1 and 2 of Snyder/Coon is that Snyder looked a lot fresher in the 2nd match. In the 1st match Snyder was breathing heavily by the 2nd period. When you are giving up 60 pounds you better bring your gas tank and speed advantage
If Ohio State needs a bonus point from Snyder against Coon to pull out the championship I will be smiling at the conclusion of 197.
