Yes. Gelogaev twice tore a pec, and each time missed the full season.Yeah, torn pecs are bad news as far as recovery time goes. Isn't that what put Oklahoma State's Russian heavyweight out for a long period of time a couple of years ago?
Here is an excellent article about his type of injury. It was written after Giant's DT Jonathan Hankins went down with the same tear. Based on what its says about recovery, I'd be very surprised if he can come back this year.
