Let me specifically highlight this portion...

What may have sounded like a non-update, actually may have been good news for the Nittany Lions. When asked specifically by a reporter if "is there anything going on there that may impact his availability," Franklin replied "No, Not at this stage. When asked if there's anything else he could add about Singleton, Franklin answered with a simple "no".

While on the surface, a "not at this stage," answer may be concerning for the Nittany Lions, the context of being asked if there was anything going on that could impact his availability, the "not at this stage," answer becomes potentially more of a relieving answer for Penn State fans.

Good God what a wussy jump off the edge fandom we have. How many practices has Allen missed without a Delco-pussycat suicide attempt. Lol
Maybe the kid has an ingrown toenail and has a podiatrist appointment. Sweet Jesus!

If Singleton is a little bruised and is held out vs UCLA that doens't seem like much of a problem. He dished out some serious contact on some of his runs vs Illinois. And Martin could use the seasoning as he could be needed for a significant role against one or more of the toughest opponents on the schedule. So as long as any injury Nick has won't keep him out long it doesn't seem like much of a problem.
