The fields at both the Midlands and the Scuffle were extremely weak this year.
 
It’s unfortunate, but Cael & PSU have determined 20 matches/year are better for wrestlers’ health than 40.

It seems that Cael isn't the only one. only a few of the top teams wrestled their starters over the holidays.

Cliff Keen is the only tourney that attracted a strong field.

Easy. If any of them had gone to Penn State, they would have been able to beat Nico in the room!

Well, sports is a copycat world. Cael and PSU started it, and given their success, it means everyone else will follow and cut their schedules, too.
 
The finals match at 157 between Daniel Cardenas and Vinny Zerban was awesome. So many incredible scrambles. Zerban is the guy who beat Levi early last season. He is ranked top 10 now and is legit good. Really funky and fun to watch. If you have Flo watch this match
