What movie character would you like to be for a day?

I was getting gas at a station in Warren County this summer when a guy driving a Delorean pulled in. First one I had seen in many years. Drew a small crowd as soon as he opened the door.

Once I was sitting at a traffic light and 17 of them drove past in a row. Must have been some sort of club.

The burning bush in “The Ten Commandments.” Who wouldn’t want to be God if just for a day? After giving Moses his marching orders I would have CJF, Pat Chambers, Russ Rose, Carl Sanderson, and Carol Krieger all winning national championships in 2020.

Arthur....playboy millionaire with no job....I could handle that.

Actually, I guess I’d go with Sam the Lion from The Last Picture Show, the character seen in my avatar. He understood life, had the love of a beautiful, passionate woman, and served as a pillar of his community. I figure that if I were him and was somehow able to bring my mathematics into the picture, that would be a good life.

For example:

Watching a little bit of the movie Love Actually, I was reminded of the storyline where the young Englishman dreams of going to Wisconsin and hooking up with beautiful women.

There are quite a few
  • General George PAtton (George C Scott)
  • Benjamin Braddock (Dustin Hoffman), The Graduate
  • James Bond (Sean Connery or Roger Moore), any, am not choosey
  • Herman Raucher (Gary Grimes), Summer of '42 with Jennifer O Neill
Will probably think of a few others, later.
