I was faithfully buying BWI at the newstand when I was a student at Penn State in the early 1980's. When I graduated in '84, I moved to Maryland so I new I had to subscribe since Penn State news out of state was pretty much nonexistent.
I must say that finding BWI was a God Send since the only recruiting info I knew of before BWI consisted of reading Ron Christ's column in the Harrisburg Patriot every Sunday in the Fall. I was late to BWI on line in 2002 only because back then I was afraid of computers, lol. That, and the fact Phil's predictions were written two weeks in advance due to time constraints inherent in printing the paper. I'm sure some of you lifers were equally frustrated, sorry Phil.
Anyway, I would love to here how everyone found BWI with both the paper and online. And how people were following Penn State football before BWI?
