She's gonna need a shitload of cookies.Maybe Sandy should hold a bake sale.
Soon as you win the powerball......Just saw on BTN that Northwestern received a $430m and they will be redoing their stadium over the next several years
She's gonna need a shitload of cookies.
That won’t get them very farBy all means, open up your checkbook and have at it. 👍
So you’ll be swinging by my ‘hood from time to time? I’m like 7 miles from Ryan Field.NU is now my favorite university. My kiddo just verbally committed to continue her academic and athletic education for the Cats!
Field Hockey goalie.

Advice on what bookstore? Other attractions?I'm headed there tomorrow for the Bears game this weekend. Total coincidence.
I want to stop by the bookstore tomorrow for some swag. Any advice?

I usually go to Beck’s on Clark if I’m looking for purple.
Personally I’d avoid the main deep dish brands Lou Malnatti’s, Giordano’s, Gino’s and Uno/Due. If you can make it to Pequod’s, either on Clybourn in Lincoln Park neighborhood or in Morton Grove, that’d be my pick. There’s also a place called Burt’s in Morton Grove as well. They have a really fun burnt-ish, caramelized crust that’s a little less mainstream.Thank you.
I guess I should have added attractions as well. 🤣
I will need a place to watch the game Saturday night. We will be staying at the Courtyard Marriot in Chicago.
My buddy wants a Chicago dog and a deep dish pizza. The weirder the better.

As for watching, if you want a PSU slant I believe AJ Hudson’s in Lakeview is still hosting a number of PSU fans. Not deep downtown, but not a bad ride away.
Check my last post, as I edited it. Just in case you want to try that last paragraph.Thank you for the suggestions. I will let you know how the trip went.
Our major donors aren’t happy with dear old state’s leadership. PSU is like a hot babe with a shitty personality. Fun to bang but not fun to date. Alumni will go to the games, but until they fix the personality problem we won’t be getting the $$$$.
What exactly is the personality problem? Lack of recognition of joepa? Or something else? Our major donors aren’t happy with dear old state’s leadership. Academic excellence will certainly attract a share of top tier talent, but to sustain a top P5 program, requires a certain athletic machismo, that I don't believe can be established there. But, I hope they give it hell, because I have always liked Fitz and what he brings to the college football scene.
Really great congratulations to you and Faye on her great achievements on the field and in the classroom. She will receive a fine education at NW’n. Hope to see you making many trips to the Windy City in the future.NU is now my favorite university. My kiddo just verbally committed to continue her academic and athletic education for the Cats!

Searching for the statue, a roll of paper towels, and a bottle of lotion.Just saw on BTN that Northwestern received a $430m and they will be redoing their stadium over the next several years

During supper this evening I mentioned you and daughter then Karen told me the news from Kelly about Faye & NW’n. Then I viewed McAndrew’s thread about field hockey. Another opportunity to visit the campus when the WCats visit. I understand that that Dr. Frank’s girl switched from Ohio State, and got
a great deal at Indiana. Two young gals I’ll be rooting for when they visit University Park.
This news has made this grumpy old fellow very happy tonight. I may not wait until Saturday to take my weekly shower, maybe tonight before the Iowa game.
Give Faye our families love and congratulations.
T. Step
Come on Bob, you and I both know that large is not always better. It's managment of the facilities that determine performance.Watching iowa at maryland (on FS1), they mentioned that maryland now has the largest scoreboard in the b1g. Their press box also looks nice.
Sandy has her work cut out for her, but I know she’s up to the task.
I'm so happy for you and Faye. You and Faye have to remember that playing expectations sometimes don't come to fruition, but the education opertunities are there to GRAB.Thank you Step!
NU checked all the boxes for Faye. Her being able to major in biology as an undergrad player a big role in her decision. Faye and Maddie have been playing together and against each other for 9 years now in soccer, Lax, and FH. I'm so happy they will be able to have a yearly reunion.
She will be at the PSU vs NU game this Sunday sitting on NU's bench for the game.
Thank you for the kind words. Much Love to you and your family.
You get a pin for your suit if you give over 3 million.Maybe Sandy should hold a bake sale.
And those who have the $ and would give are disappointed with the direction that being taken by the current leadership. There are not many Penn Staters w/serious $ really interested in giving it to Athletics.
