Where are people tailgating at Lucas Oil

Is there a preferred parking lot / location for tailgating at Lucas Oil Stadium. I am staying downtown at a hotel, but want to be by the stadium for the tailgate experience.......does anyone have the inside scoop on where to tailgate in Indianapolis by the stadium.

You'll just have to drive around EARLY and find one of the vacant lots near the stadium. It's the middle of a city, there really aren't any huge lots where you're going to be near the stadium for that tailgate experience and be able to see the stadium. You can be within like a quarter mile in a random parking lot if you get there early and/or pre-buy passes.
