Which bowls would you consider going to watch Penn State play in? Does the opponent matter?

For me any of the Florida bowl games (Orange, Citrus, Outback, Taxslayer) and the Peach Bowl in Atlanta are likely trips.

Would you go to the Cotton Bowl to watch Penn State play Notre Dame?

I honestly don't care which bowl but want a top ten team with a high profile "name". Georgia in the Taxslayer was cool. Looking back you can see how far both programs have come. Give me Notre Dame, Miami, Clemson.. not Central Florida though.. no offense to them. I'd rather them upset some other big program

I can drive to any bowls in north Florida or Georgia so those would be great. I froze when we played in taxslayer bowl two years ago against Georgia

IMHO, opponent trumps (is that still a word?) the venue. I'd take ND in a heartbeat no matter if it is in the Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl Bowl (Dec. 21st at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL.)

Would consider the orange if it wasn’t dec 30. Not a fan of Arizona and Dallas can be cold this time of year. Hoping we get a top ten p5 matchup. Would be disappointing to get UCF.

Fiesta followed by Cotton and Orange...we have great history in all three of those Bowls...

Citrus is perfect for me. I’d go there no matter who they’d play. Outback and Gator, I’d have to take more things into account. I didn’t go the year they lost to Florida or when they lost to Georgia. But a playoff game in Miami or Atlanta, I’d make those trips no questions asked. Almost went to Rose last year simply because it was the Rose Bowl.

Opponent doesn't matter to me. Living in Pasadena, the Rose Bowl will be tops but the Fiesta would be second. I'm willing to fly to Dallas for the Cotton Bowl. I'm not too keen on going to Atlanta for the Peach but I would consider it. Flying to FL for the Citrus, Orange, or Outback would be bottom of my list.

The Holiday Bowl in San Diego would be the 2nd easiest for me in terms of travel but going there would mean they aren't in the NY6 and had some sort of loss in the last two so I'd hope they dont go there.

Opponent and Location matter to me, and hope for a good combination

Opponent: Don't want to fly across the country to see us play a non-Power 5 where its a lose/lose. Win and "you should have won"...Lose and "you lost to a non-P5"

Location: I like to spend a week there. So where would I like to spend a week with things to do.

Location:
1. Orange Bowl
2. Citrus/Outback
3. Fiesta Bowl
4. Peach Bowl
5. Cotton Bowl

Opponent:
1. Not a non-Power 5 school (UCF)
2. Notre Dame
3. whoever

1. Aloha Bowl
2. Orange Bowl
3. Fiesta Bowl

Cotton Bowl means Dallas in winter. No.
Citrus and Outback Bowls are not enticing enough.

As long as they win the next two games, I will be traveling to what ever bowl they play in. I make the qualifying statement only because a loss could make a significant date change and might make travel arrangements an issue for my family.

As a Disney Annual Passholder, I’m praying for the Citrus Bowl!!! It’s easy to convince the family to go there!

We have the SoCal Disneyland annual pass. It's too bad they don't give you a day or two access at any Disney park per year. That would increase the interest in the Citrus Bowl.

Wing Bowl.

There’s always at least a few PSU guys there playing something or other...

Wow, I’ve never gone to Disneyland, I just assumed it was good for any Disney Park. Good to know.

Any of the FL bowls, Atlanta is about 600 miles, spent 10 days there during Irma.

I'm going to any bowl, any opponent.

That said I never want to go to Jacksonville again - it was freezing. Of course the weather in LA last year was awful too. If I want to be cold I can stay in Pittsburgh.

I'll take the Fiesta or the Orange - good weather is a lock.

Fiesta. My sister-in-law lives in Scottsdale and we’ve decided we’re going if we get the bid. Can’t beat free lodging.
