Which of the following pitching feats is the most impressive to you and in your opinion the least likely to happen again?

If winning 30 games gives you a post career life like McClain I hope it never happens again

Denny McLain served about six years at the Federal Prison in McKean County, PA. That facility is out in the middle of nowhere.
I knew a few guards who worked in that prison and lived in surrounding communities. They said McLain was basically a slug, blew his weight up to about 350. Last guy in the place you would pick out as a professional athlete. Other inmates pretty much had him on ignore.

Pedro Martinez had a 1.74 ERA in 2000 when steroids were rampant and league average was 4.92. Second best ERA that year was Clemens with 3.70. Almost a two run difference. It's the modern record for best ERA+.

Sandy Koufax had the greatest 5 to 6 year run in the early 60s and might have been the most dominant pitcher of all-time during that stretch. He had to retire at the age of 31 and missed out on his prime years because of arthritis. He was an automatic selection into the HOF - when he became eligible - AT THE AGE OF 36 (youngest ever)....an age when many were still in their prime years

Koufax and Drysdale were one of the great one-two punches in baseball history even though they received very little offensive support.
