Just to throw it out there for fun. Teske's debut? Berge at 157? Conel in a PSU uniform vs a decent guy at 197?

I'll say Conel, just to see what he'll look like fully healthy as a Nittany Lion.

WE ARE!!!

Re Verk vs Prince, some discussion about him on thematforums, apparently not listed on the Navy roster at this point.

Surprised Str8Dblz didn’t start a cryptic thread about that with info that he lifted off of a message board.

He’s slacking.

Not to mention Verk is wrestling 163 next week at U23 Worlds. I expect the coaches may want to give Verk more than 10 days to get down to weight and Pipher will go at 157 until Verk is ready. JMHO.

I hope Berge is back for the Army tournament but would not surprised with his debut coming at ASU.

You're right. I kept reading Verk but my mind heard Berge because I was thinking Prince was going at 157. Still unclear what is up with Prince.

I said it last year and will repeat it. Berge needs to improve his mat skills. He's great on his feet but has to score from top and get out from bottom. Hopefully the weight gain will help from bottom.
We will see.

Reportedly Berge has been squatting and dead lifting with BoJo, numbers are through the roof

Not any one wrestler for me, it's really about the whole day. Brunch with lots of friends, the first wrestling dual of the season, even the Ridge Riley Award. Fun, fun, fun.

Bro u still salty bc your slow?

I think we all appreciate any wrestling related news. Not trying to be a mind reader......but I think I would translate his words to suggest that ...in the future....that "News" begins with...…"I read on_____ that.... " or "I heard on _____ that....." Citing source is always the proper way to proceed unless source asks to remain anonymous.

There is a Prince going 157, Connor Prince. Jared, however, isn't on the roster.

I do not think we will see Shak until January....little birdie told me that a couple weeks ago.

There aren't a lot of options at 184lbs after Shak aside from the obvious Aaron Brooks. If not Aaron Brooks we are looking at three freshman and a sophomore.

Donovan Ball (New Cumberrland, Pa) - Freshman - High School record of 123-38. PIAA runner-up in 2019.

Richie Heywood (Heber, Utah) - Freshman - High School record of 119-21 - 2X time Utah State champ. He has probably the most interesting fun fact on the team.

"Went 32-12 at 160 as a sophomore, finishing as state runner-up, losing to older brother Spencer in the state finals"

Eddie Smith (Erie, Pa) - Freshman - High School record of 61-37.

Austin Hoopes (Alton, Wyoming) - Sophomore - High School 91-21 (sophomore/junior year) and unbeaten senior year. 2X Wyoming state champ. He went 4-6 at a freshman at PSU last year in tournaments.

Aaron Brooks needs no introduction here.

Is Beard wrestling off with Conel?

I do believe that it will be Austin Hoopes until Shak is ready
