Barry for clarification purposes.. Are you in fact putting your name into the nomination process? If so congrats abd best wishes.
More than that........I am "putting my name into the ELECTION process"
The "nomination" process is a requirement to get one's name on the ballot (supplied through PSU).
When the election takes place later this Spring, folks can vote for whomever they feel they should - either listed on the ballot, or via "write-in".....so I don't consternate much about Penn State's "nomination" process
(A nomination process which became much more "pain in the ass" for everyone involved, and works to REDUCE the number of non-incumbent candidates - - - changes that were made with the APPROVAL AND SUPPORT of the A9, once they were in those seats) .
I am "in it" until the end, through the Spring ELECTIONS.........no matter what - and thus I am much more focused on providing a candidate (me) for ELECTION, who will stand for "responsible governance" for Penn State.
Otherwise, from what we have seen thus far, there may not be a single candidate available who provides an option for those folks who DO care about responsible governance......first, foremost, and always.
Moving forward - as we approach the elections - most of the "relevant stuff" will be posted to the "Interwebs" via FaceBook.....though I expect it will also find its way over to this board
