Who has the economy of the last year and a half or so hurt the most?

On one hand, a lot of retirees are seeing their retirement accounts get obliterated by the 4rth worst stock market performance in history in 2022 and their purchasing power has continued to erode with record and now sticky inflation. So much so in fact that "UNRETIRING" is now a thing.

On the other hand, young people aren't even getting started it seems in this economy. Jobs are being shed and a lot of entry opportunities are no more. Then there is the info below which shows that young adults are the groups who are living paycheck to paycheck at even higher rates.
