The PRC
Suriano pouring it on Rodriguez

Gulibon getting past Pletcher's tough defense

Zain with the TF of #5 Jordan

Nolf with another creative pin.

Joseph bonusing a very defensive Burcher (this is just the second time this season that Burcher gave up bonus)

Hall mopping up BoJo's replacement

Nickal showing Martin who's boss

Snyder showing why he's the best in the world at heavy.

Lots of great wrestling last night!

See,s to me you major or tech the no. 3 wrestler, that is quite something. And, you beat the defending NCAA champ fairly comfortably. Those were my uninformed votes.

How outstanding was the PSU performance ?

30 votes so far and zero for either Hall or Nolf who were the ones who had huge moves into WBF.

Crazy.

Reminds me of a buddy who texted me after Cenzo's match: "Nice win but wasn't that impressive. "

I just replied "Dude.... he won 11-1 against a kid who never gets bonused by anyone. "

These kids are setting the bar sky high for themselves.

a lot of it is simply expectations. Folks voted based on expectations. Nolf and Zain did as expected. Hell, lots though Bo would major plus.

Honestly, I think Z-train's 20-5 TF of the #5 ranked wrestler in the country was most impressive and deserved OW Award because he turned him multiple times for NF points and had him dead-to-rights at the end. Snyder put on a TD clinic which is fairly typical for him (did same to Jan Johnson last year), but he never really threatened to turn Nick or really ever really had him in deep trouble. In fact, Snyder really didn't even effectively breakdown Nick. Snyder is not a "pinner" against ranked competition and honestly struggles to even TF guys (which is tough to do 1-point at a time -- i.e., TD, release, TD, release, etc...). He's not a "big move" kind of guy, more of a TD specialist which will win you a lot of matches in the unlimited, 220 kg and HWT categories in Free and Folk.

Still say Zain's performance was more impressive in just demo'ing Micah Jordan every which way possible.

Guliban has my vote. It was a good performance from an athlete who has faced adversity this year.
How many of you had his bout as aW before the match
I expected JG to win... although I wouldn't have been surprised if he loss. He's been wresting good and I wasn't impressed with Pletch in the Iowa match.. though JG could take him down...

I was impressed by the youts doing the wrestling mannequin challenge at intermission.

Oops...my bad...Yooouuuths....Yooouuuths....

Bo beats a returning national champion badly... and is 5th in voting. Tough crowd.

I think most people are aware of how much of a fluke last year's finals match was between them and that Bo is the far better wrestler. Therefore, Bo's win was very solid but not as impressive as some of the other's wins, IMO.

Honestly, I was impressed by Nevills. Sure he let the best in the world get to his feet a few times, but look at who he wrestled. Nick held him to a MD. And for that, just my personal opinion, I say "Good for Nick". Nick impressed me.
