There are 3 that stand out to me from my years of knowledge:
1. Joe Paterno - when he was an assistant to Rip Engles,
2. Larry Johnson Sr. - yes, he bow coaches for the archrival enemy, but name a better Defensive Line coach anywhere!
3. Jerry Sandusky - yes, I went there and may be banned from this board as such, but he sure was a great LB coach. The horrors of his off-field actions are inexcusable and criminal
4. Joe Moorhead - turned out to be a great OC based on how he turned our offense around at the time.
