For me, the biggest positive surprise was KJ Hamler, and most disappointing was Justin Shorter. I knew Hamler had speed and elusive move ability as a HS player, but didn't know he'd have such great impact in his first year as a starter after such a bad knee injury remediation. Shorter was only a disappointment for me based on my expectations since he was supposed to have been the clear number 1 WR in last years class. His early season injury and lack of playing time were surprising. I still have high hopes for him next season as he did show a few flashes in the Bowl game!
