Why Pitt will never be on the level "We Are.." or any other college that has a stadium on campus....

If you want to judge success by stars...please feel free to do so. I judge it by wins and losses and neither school is setting the world on fire.

There is a HUGE difference though. PSU was under unjust/undeserved sanctions, and still had a better season than Pitt last year. Pitt actually has a losing record in recent history. PSU, even through the sanctions, has a winning record.

Okay...you win...your penis is bigger....lol. What do you want me to say?? I still like Pitt in 2016...Penn State the year after and we'll see how recruiting finishes up before I'd place bets on the following years. I think we have exhausted this horse...have a good day;)

Since 1950, Pitt is 369-343-16
PSU is 536-202-7

That includes the years Pitt paid players from 1976-1982 to make them relevant. Outside of those years, Pitt is below .500 team.
Penn State's record the past few years was obviously influenced by the sanctions. They brought us down to your level.

NO! The horse is not exhausted until WE say it is. ...............................OK, the horse is exhausted. You can move on now.

Just picking some random # of years. If you look back in really recent history, say 3 years, Pitt has a losing record. If you think that isn't enough of a sample, and go back say 25 years, they still have a losing record. There is NO combination of years you can look at for PSU where they have a losing record.

(Note: I treated ties as a half win and half loss, although any treatment of a tie isn't going to give them a winning record in the above time frames.)

Maybe 1950 is too long ago to discuss. Let's talk about since 1990.

Pitt's record 144 wins 154 losses.

But don't worry Narduzzi is going to turn all that around, stay forever, Oakland will expand, an on campus stadium will be built, and Pitt will compete for National Titles. Ignore what has happened for 58 out of the past 65 years. That 7 year stretch in the late 70's and early 80's was the norm.

It's all Pederson's fault!

Yes and many of us laugh at them as well. The stadium, attendance, commuting to practice facilities. It's all what makes attending Pitt a completely different experience from attending school in a college town. You either love it or hate it. It makes Pitt unique.

I have to disagree. It's not what makes Pitt 'unique'. It's what makes Pitt like Temple. There's a reason colleges do all they can to have on campus facilities. Even Minnesota and SMU spent the money to build a campus stadium rather than use the pro stadium in town.

Dude, if we are talking about penis size contest, Pitt's not even in the running. Once Sherrill left, he took the sex organs with him. Wanny tried to grow them back, but in the minds of some the ones he grew weren't big enough, so they let him go.
