Maryland football seems to constantly do the wrong thing over and over, so it's unlikely that will change this time around but why wouldn't they consider Larry Johnson, Sr??

It's obvious that they will go after a big time coach,(probably with help from Under Armor influence) so they can appease the fan base and not sink to the bottom of the B1G, but why not give the man who has absolutely locked down the state of Maryland a shot? While a proven head coach is probably all the fancy(Edsall was exactly that when he got hired), in order for these guys to remain competitive, they need a dramatic overhaul of getting talent to WANT to stay in state instead of being pulled away.

Is LJ just pigeon holed for the rest of his career as defensive specialists given his age at this point, or will someone actually take a chance on him and the way he inspires?
