With all the leadership being lost to the NFL, who do you see as Team Captains for 2019??

On Defense I'm going with Reid, and possibly Parsons. Windsor could have been a pick but captains don't break team rules and hurt the team by their absence/suspensions....

On Offense I'd guess Tommy. Other possibilities would be Sanders (if he hasn't declaired by the time this is posted), Taylor, Gonzo or Menet.

The 2018 special team's captain should be replaced.....:(;):(

Taylor, I will bet. Stevens, if he’s able to play after surgery.

All of the early departures make me wonder if it had something to do with our leadership deficit. It seemed like after the OSU loss, the air went out and never really came back.

Good call on Jan Johnson. If he comes back he would be a great leader even if he is backing up Brooks.

I just do now see Juwan Johnson as a leader from his demeanor on the field, but who really knows except those on the team.....

While extremely unlikely to be captains, IMO Parsons and Hamler have the intangibles PSU needs. They play with intensity and want to win. I think they will raise expectations.

I think Parsons is a future captain, but I think that's in 2020, not next year.

You could easily add John Reid to the mix on defense, too.

Offense - Tommy
Defense - Yetur, Garrett, and John Reid.
Special Teams - Blake

Even if Miles comes back, he doesn’t strike me as a “leader” in the huddle. Juwan has an outside shot, but I doubt it. I also think Steven Gonzalez is a possibility, as the offensive line needs more vocal leaders.

On defense, outside of the three I mentioned I also list Cam Brown and Jan Johnson as possible options.
