I was in LA this week for a big user conference and while walking from JW Marriott to Convention Center saw this white benz come flying out of parking garage, hit 2 cars, with 6+ police cars in pursuit. A block away an officer pulled his weapon and fired a round as the car sped away. Eventually they caught the guy with only minor injuries.

Heard a murder (3 shots) in WPB when I first moved down here. At a phone booth about 20 yards from the apt. Australian Ave. and 43rd St. I think. Not a nice area. We moved to a trailer in Lake Park and thought we won the lottery.

Link???, I was a kid then and we didn't have "links"; I'm old now and don't know how to link. Guessing it might have been 1950 ish or early 1950's. The bank was on 60th, close to Market, grandparents store was 60th near Sansom (for those who might know the area). Sirens, speeding car followed by Police Car, no gun shots, tamer days, I guess.

Two years ago I was walking my dog near Roxborough high's football field. As the dog and I walked down the street on non bleacher side, I noticed two black vans with tinted windows and motors running. There were several men in both vans. We turned right onto Pechin Street. Near the corner of Pechin Street and Hermitage, a black sedan with tinted windows, several passengers and motor running was parked. All the cars were American made. As we turned right on Hermitage, the two vans, the sedan and several other cars came screaming to a stop directly across from where we were walking. FBI, ATF, Philadelphia police all jumped out of the cars guns drawn.
I didn't know what to do: hit the ground, turn around or keep going straight toward home. I did the later. Law enforcement were knocking down the front door of one of the houses. I don't know if the got their person of interest or not.

Close as I want to be to a raid.
