Sure some of you were able to stop punching the wall long enough to watch the BTN wrap show last night.

Gerry DiNardo showed some video to make his point, and one showed 3 PSU WRs w/in a very tight circle on the left side of the field. Even if any individual created separation, those 3 WRs had 4 defenders in the same box as a result. It was shown as a 'coverage sack'--but also used to illustrate that 'coverage sacks' are created by many factors--sometimes the WRs or scheme makes tight coverage easier than others.

Either WRs are running the wrong routes or the routes themselves are bad.

NEVER thought I'd say this, but the Paterno 'Power I' backfield w/ 1 TE and 2WR isn't looking so bad any more . . . 1 runs 8 yard 'out', other does slant, RBs block, and TE holds block for 2-3 secs, then serves as a safety valve of a TE sitting down in front of the LBs . . . might be more effective than what we're seeing.
