Wrestler attacks a coach after elbowing the opponent

This crap is starting to become a real problem. I don't get people that think the taunting, etc. has entertainment value. One of the biggest appeals of wrestling to me was always that wrestlers and coaches (usually, there were some exceptions) exhibited really good sportsmanship. You fought hard - but with respect. If that's all going out the window, I don't want any part of it.

It looked to be “over” but then the coach in white shirt must have wanted it to continue.
To quote Mayor Willie Brown on the Sprewell coach-choking incident: “HIS BOSS MAY HAVE NEEDED CHOKING. IT MAY HAVE BEEN JUSTIFIED…“ ;)

Edit: I’m kinda serious. Without knowing the facts, it’s hard to assign 100% of the blame.

Similar to a lot of today's news, how much of this crap went on back in the day before the internet and widespread coverage capability?

Physical violence is almost never a justified response to a verbal altercation. Almost never. Let me provide one of the few times that a punch to the face was totally justified.

One video is not convincing. Physical violence is never a good response to a verbal assault. Not until one feels threatened with harm, anyway. Real life experience.

I wrestled through the 80's and never witnessed anything between a wrestler and a coach (own or opposing) in addition the teams I was on don't recall any excessive celebrations and very little unsportsmanlike behavior. Times changing I guess

Good thing ol' Buzz was poked by the Bible.
If it would help ol' Buzz, any decent bystander would rightly remember seeing the bible poke. It would be the decent thing to remember. In fact, I now remember seeing the bible poke on the video, now that I think about it. ;)

I was standing right there and saw the whole thing. A Bible poke and a shove. I feared for Buzz's safety.

What I found most interesting is Buzz not once refuting what the guy was saying.

He was on the moon.

This reminds me of the story about roaming gangs of thugs roughing up fans leaving the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ after an NCAA basketball regional tourney. The first thing I thought/said was that the gangs were lucky it wasn't a wrestling tournament.

Why? Some moron publicly pesters you with ridiculous questions about you, your profession and your life while having another moron following with a camera recording the interaction and you think you are going to take him serious and engage in a conversation?

This is really good advice for members of these boards. When some moron comes on here and makes a comment that is clearly designed to provoke a reaction the first, best, most effective reaction is to completely ignore it. THIS is what drives trolls crazy.

Of course he'd say that, everyone knows Isaac Asimov had no punching power and I won't even bring up his suspect chin!

But he was smart enough to get out of the Soviet Union when he was only 3 years old. After that, no need for any punching power. :D
