Yahoo Kappa Delta Rho (PSU) article and it ain't none to pleasant!

Maybe I think this way because I've never been in a frat or a frat-like group but whole idea of an initiation ritual where you have to do demeaning stuff seems demeaning in itself, regardless of what the actual stuff you have to do is. I mean, some kind of ceremony is fine but the idea that you have to debase yourself in some way in order to be one of the group just seems creepy.

And then you're supposed to be friends with the same people who mistreat you?

Eff that

I take it you didn't start out your career on Wall St, Madison Ave, K Street or as a medical resident.

I'm talking about real doctors. Not podiatrists and phlebotomists.
Two "real doctors" in my family and I don't recall them drinking urine or having to do push-ups over garbage.

I know 30+ lobbyists on and off K Street and, nope, no demeaning stuff (unless, of course, you view the whole Influence-peddling "profession" as demeaning). Okay - strike my 2nd part.

You're a very literal guy, aren't you.

Which do you think is worse: drinking a little urine, or being worked to death: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/02/10/wall-street-internships_n_4646872.html

ETA: that kid would probably still be alive today, if he had been toughened up by a little frat hazing first. A shame.
