Yuengling tops Sam Adams as #1 craft beer in America!

Actually, that is exactly what you are desperately trying to avoid doing. I have asked many times for you to restate these so called facts that only you seem to think exist. So by all means, please restate the facts... I want you to copy/paste the text (including date/time stamp) from where you think you proved your point.

It's already been done which is how I accumulated a 1 - 0 lead.

:)

OK... show us where. Include the date/time stamp of the post where you posted objective evidence and proved:

Initially, it was kept a secret for fear of turning off their customers and also possibly made to look like that they were not telling the truth in their commercials.

It IS fun and it WAS a secret initially.

You're intelligent (mostly).
You can find it.
It was pointed out already.
Let's not beat a dead horse.

The horse is not dead, it's quite alive. Because not only have you never proven your point, you've never pointed out where you proved your point. If you actually proved your point, it would obviously be much easier for you to just copy/paste, or point to the date/time stamp of the post that does it. But you have no option, so your silly little strategy is to pretend you proved your point and hope that no one notices. A real man would just admit he was wrong.

Ok, I'll saddle up.

:D

OK, I'll be waiting for you to "saddle up". Somehow I doubt you are capable of admitting that you are wrong.

You keep claiming that you are right, but can't seem to prove it. Why don't you simply prove it, instead of spending more time/effort dodging?

Big surprise. You avoid answering the question about why you're avoiding proving yourself.

1 - 0. No surprise you can't accept defeat.

So you avoided responding to the post that called you out for avoiding answering the question about why you avoid proving yourself. See a trend?

I'd gladly accept defeat if you could kindly show me where you defeated me. Show me where you allegedly proved your point, and show me where you allegedly reiterated your point. Simply copy and past the posts and/or their date/time stamps.

Is this your coping mechanism for losing? Do you watch my alma mater play football on TV? When they lose, do you just go about your day and pretend they won? When people show you the newspaper with the score, do you just keep repeating some made up score that makes you think they won? Can't you just pick some other school to be a fan of, like Pitt?

I was never a fan of anything Sam Adams sells...I don't buy it, and I don't drink it. I'd prefer a plain old "Black and Tan" or simply a Michelob Amberbock any day over anything Sam Adams has to offer.

I'll take Apples and Oranges for $2000 Alex

I'm sure Yuengling won an award once too. The difference is that Sam Adams has won lots of awards. In fact they have won more awards around the globe, more than any brand in history. But yeah... it's just marketing.

I don't care how many awards Sam Adams has received. I don't like any of their beers and do not drink any beer based on how many awards they've won. The proof is in my own taste buds, and Sam Adams doesn't please mine.

That's like saying you don't care how many awards a steakhouse has won, you want McDonalds. I too don't drink beer based on how many awards it has won, which is why I rarely drink Sam Adams. It's the lowest thing on the craft beer scale you drink when nothing else is available. It's still light years ahead of anything Yuengling or Michelob make. I'm glad people still like mass produced swill, because good craft beer is getting way too popular and hard to find. So thank you!

You're like the kid in my grade school class that insisted his dad had a helicopter. He talked about it all the time, but could never seem to produce any proof like a picture, or let anyone come over and see it. He would say things like "you just have to believe me" or "I already brought a picture in last week". Much like this board teases you, we teased him mercilessly about it, because even as kids we weren't stupid. Eventually he grew up and admitted it wasn't true, maybe you too will get there someday!

I got caught up in the "Yuengling's coming to Ohio!" buzz. I think I might have heard about Yuengling first on this board years ago.

Here's what I'd say about Yuengling. It's better than your Bud or Miller products, your basic domestics. But it's nothing special.

I'm a longtime Sam Adams drinker, so I'm a little biased. But I'd buy about 20 of their offerings before Yuengling. But I'm kind of a beer snob, and think of Sam Adams as a lower level beer too.

There's something to be said about the attachment that people have to regional brews. I was in Maryland for the OSU game this past fall. So we're in a bar on Friday night and I ask the bartender:

"What's the beer with the Pringle's guy on it?" The place goes silent.

A sorority girl sitting next to me asks "Where are you from?!!?!?"

Me: "Ohio."

A chorus of "That's Natty Bo!".

Natural Bohemian was ok, nothing special.

Leave your personal life out of this sir.

Huh? Your reply has no relevance to my previous post, and makes literally zero sense. I'd ask you to explain, but if history is any indication you would just avoid answering.

Why don't you stop posting off topic nonsense and try to actually prove the point that no one believes you about? Let me once again try to steer you back on topic. Please provide objective evidence that proves:

Initially, it was kept a secret for fear of turning off their customers and also possibly made to look like that they were not telling the truth in their commercials.

It IS fun and it WAS a secret initially.

No because you can't accept a silly defeat.

Pity

Now you are really projecting your behaviors on me. What did your therapist tell you about that?

I'd gladly accept defeat if you can simply post where you defeated me. All you have to do is copy and paste where you provided objective evidence to prove your point. Or simply post the date/time stamp from the post that you think proved your point with objective evidence. Doing this would be so much easier than continuing to stubbornly pretend like you "won".

But why on earth would you go for the kill, when you can keep reviving a dead thread and say something like "I already did that, not going to again, 1-0, random emoticon"?
