Carlton was at the District 6 championships last week in Altoona, supporting his son Carlton jr, who is a young Hwy at Johnstown high school.

For the younger guys on this forum, in 1984, Haselrig petion the PIAA to wrestle in Regionals/States because his high school did field a team. If memory serves me ,when I attended states that year his record was like 7-0 on the opening bracket sheet. Hr goes on to win states.Attends Pitt/Johnstown. Under old NCAA format if you won Div III nationals you qualified for a spot in Div. I tournament. He went on and won 3 Division I national titles. Numerous great wrestlers won Nationals in this format. I believe both Schalles at Clarion and Hitchcock of Bloomsburg were the Outstanding Wrestlers in the tournament.

If Bo Jordan had wrestled all year and was battle tested, I would slightly favor Jordan. He is that good. However, I still question his health and his cardio (from being out so much) that I think Mark can pull this one off. Sure hope so.

A Hall / Jordan match will be a good one if it happens. My seeding guesses suggest Mark might get Brunson in the semi's, which could be his 2nd bout if there's 9 allocated slots at 174. I like both Bo and Mark to make the finals.

I'd be pretty amazed if Mark wasn't at least the 3 seed given the beatdown he put on Brunson. I don't see anyone else jumping Brunson.

I have Mark #2, and Brunson #3 (beat Meyer at Midlands), but stranger things have happened with the seeding committee.

We need a game to predict these seeds and finishes. Its already feeling like its a long time on here......Anyone want to take a stab at it?

I have said it before but in jest but now I am serious that Spyker is Cael's alter ego. I thought at first when I joined the board that dude Roar was Cael given that he was so knowledge in every aspect of wrestling (reminded of Cliff Clavin but difference knowing things of interest as opposed to non sense) but then I thought if I were Cael I would not make it so obvious so I scratched that, then I thought that guy El Jefe was Cael but would Cael refer to himself as the boss, I don't think so. I moved on to thinking it was that dude dropster but then he changed his avatar to the guy in the red jacket and I thought Cael would never wear that. Then you have all the others that you can remove by location (Johnstown - no one ever pretends to be from there ) Then you have Spyker who comes across as a guy off his meds and thought to myself what a great way to disguise who you are so that is where I landed.
i decided the same thing in the last couple of days...

Any way to send PMs on this site? My attempt is related to this thread b
Technically....he pretended to be from Charlestown.

I knew someone would bust my balls on that one. I wasn't expecting it to be you ;-). But the screenplay was of course written about the Johnstown Jets. The amazing thing was that there wasn't as much embellishment to the incidents as one would expect.

There is, but you have to be a subscriber to send a PM.

If a subscriber sends a non-subscriber a PM, then the non-subscriber can respond to it.

Who do you want to send a PM to?
