2016 Fargo Junior Freestyle begins today

Sharing a bracket with Nick Lee are favorites Mitch McKee (Minny commit) and Kaden Gfeller (OSU commit). Looking forward to this one. Joe Lee won last year and has to get through Griffin Parriott (Purdue commit) and Zander Wick (Wisconsin commit) this year. Gavin Teasdale at 120 is probably the most hyped name at Fargo this year. Danny Vega (Iowa State commit) projects to meet him in the finals, which could be the start of a nice rivalry a few years down the road.

120 at Fargo. ....maybe just maybe 126 for HS????

so are there live brackets or is anyone tweeting out mat assignments? Hard to get lucky when there's 24 mats.

Trackwrestling for mat assignments, and Flo for video.

Btw, just noticed that Edmond Ruth is there at 152 (cadet). Evidently lost in the second round yesterday but is now 3-0 on the consi side.

Nick Lee wins 10-0

Joe Lee was up 8-3 and got his back wrenched with a leg lace. Seen this way too often. Kids getting hurt. I hate this move so much.

Lee hangs on 10-7 but you have to think the rest of his tournament is ****ed.

Jakob Campbell of Boyertown just beat Alec Thomsen 8-6. Pretty huge upset. Jake's been wrestling good lately, but not that good, lol.

Potential Teasdale/Parker match in round of 1/16...sucks that two studs have to travel over a 1000 miles to face each other this early. Whoever seeded the 120 bracket was high.

But you also go to Fargo for the challenge, Champs welcome whomever, whenever

Track's dashboard is frozen, so I have no clue what mat N. Lee will be on. Should be within 10 minutes or so

Crazy amount of ISU commits at Fargo today. They could make up 9/10 of their future starting lineup

125- Vega
133- Gomez
141- Parker
149- Storr
157- Baptiste
165- Meyer
174- Coleman
184-
197- Shields-Colbray
Hwt- Gremmel

Fargo is easily my favorite tournament of all. If you've never been, I highly recommend it. TONS of college coaches walking amongst us commoners.

Nick Lee up on mat 6 right now.

10-0 TF over Scott Cook - Wisconsin

Lee makes quick work of WI kid. I'd like PSU to pick up Alex Lloyd from Shakopee, MN. The Shakopee kids are kinda underrated but very, very tough.

A mohawked Verkleeren went 10-0 fast on a leg lace.

Joe Lee up next on mat 2, where Nelson Brands is presently losing 10-3.

Lee goes 10-0 as well.

Nick Lee has Carter Happel (Iowa) in quarters, on course for a Mitch McKee semi.

Joe Lee has David San Miguel (California) in quarters, on course for a semi against Griffin Parriott

Hidley looked good. Announcer tried to make something out of his red and black shoes/socks - not sure I understood. Where is he looking at going?

Older bro Hayden committed to NC St, I think

Correct, Mason Manville knows his brother good, the same one that can't possibly contribute at PSU :)

Nick Lee on deck on mat 6

Change that to in the hole. Track missed a match.

Joe Lee in hole on 8, where Mitch McKee is currently up 7-0 (and will face Nick Lee next if this stands).
