While not unexpected, still incredibly rewarding! I'm really looking forward to Anthony Cassar going for the HW title tonight.
You won't have to wait long as finals are starting with HW and ending with Bo going for his 3rd Natty at 197.
So we have 5 wrestlers going for their championships tonight. How many will win? I’m thinking 3 or 4. Cassar against White is a tough matchup. White is a beast. Bo, Nolf, and Hall could/should win. Joseph could be a tossup.
I think it’s great that we clinch the team title even before the finals. Even the PSU apparel stores were emailing their championship gear today before the final matches.

I have to say for those of us that grew up in PA and participated in youth wrestling and understood from a molecular level the potential that was always here, this dynasty is very deserved and was a long time coming. Obviously, Cael has expanded the scope and pushed it to a new level, but the core is here, in PA. That's why he came here. So proud of that heritage!
Cassar starts off night with a dominating 9-1 win. Avenging his only loss of the year !
. I was referring to the team effort. Having 5 guys wrestle for an individual championship is solid.
No doubt. The team is unreal. Plus, beating out Ohio State in anything is an additional bonus.
I think he’s a senior. However, he is trying to get an extra year because of injuries.
He got caught. It happens. Had his head too close to his knee. Otherwise Lewis was able to fend him off and counter and shots. Kid is good. A Junior World Champ.
He is 99% sure to be granted a 6th year due to medical hardships. (Rumor is it has been granted already but not public). He will talk it over with family and coaches & make his decision in the coming weeks.
