You can't challenge a Fall Call - they had to be challenging something in the series just before Fall Call. I think maybe they were claiming he had a Full-Nelson in momentarily (Full-Nelson a illegal move).
They were challenging the mat return. The announcers were clueless. When you do the crab ride return, you can't leave both feet. For an example, look at the NATO-Clark big ten final. I think one of his feet staid grounded though so it was clean.

Carter wrestled a smart match. Romero clearly didn't want to wrestle in Neutral, so he didn't do anything foolish that would have put him out of position - he stayed patient (largely because he is very confident in his ability to be a hammer on top). He got his quick escape and again did nothing desperate to force his offense in Neutral - stayed patient. Then he just rode Romero like a rented mule. Carter is clearly mature beyond his years in terms of wrestling style - some have talked about who J-Lee could learn from... he could learn quite a bit from Carter's style.

184 Semi: Aaron Brooks vs. Parker Keckeisen (Northern Iowa)

PK for the opponent

Hopefully Byers ignores Trent Hidlay, as he's wrestling in the other 184 Semi. ;)

Per 1
PK with a reach, nothing. PK with another reach, nothing. Brooks reaches, then reaches again and gets an ankle, elevates the leg and gets the TD, 2-0. He basically cuts him, 2-1. PK reaches, nothing. Brooks in on a single but his head was stuffed so he lost it. PK reaches for an ankle, not even close. End. RT @ 11 sec for Brooks

Per 2
Brooks takes bottom. He works up and he's out in 6 sec, 3-1. PK in on a single but Brooks sprawls and stuffs his head, and a stalemate with 1:33 left. Brooks shoots, nothing. PK gets a single again, and Brooks sprawls, and a stalemate with 1:06 left, and blood stoppage for Brooks. Brooks nearly had a leg. Shoots again and he's in deep on a single, PK grabs an ankle, they scramble, but Brooks gets the TD, 5-1. End. RT @ 36 sec for Brooks

Per 3
Blood stoppage again for Brooks. PK takes bottom. He works up and is lifted and returned. PK on his base, tries a stout, but they go OOB with 1:42 left. PK works up slowly, and Brooks cuts him, 5-2, though RT is 1:02 for Brooks. PK shoots, nothing. Brooks reaches, nothing. 1 min left. Brooks reaches, nothing. 30 sec left. PK reaches, nothing. PK with a TD at the end, 5-4. End. With 1:02 in RT, it's a 6-4 DEC for Brooks.

It was his right ankle or knee. Happened at the very end of the match. Brooks appeared to walk it off
