B1G Network not coming on for anyone else? Tried turning on the Baylor/Wisconsin match and nothing. All other channels work (Cox, NoVA).
I got to watch match on ESPN+ and was quite pleased with result.
Still a lot to work on.
Service errors ! 15 errors in GT loss yesterday. 13 tonight against UCF. These will kill you against most teams in BIG.
Timing issues with sets to Middle Hitters. We fanned on sets in middle at least 3-4 times.
Communication issues on the floor resulted in several actual collisions and several more first hits that just dropped to floor with everyone watching.
This team can be good but it’ll be a work in progress.
Jonni Parker looks great, Allie Holland stepping up as 2nd Middle.
3 matches at home next weekend.

Gold Medal winners Haleigh Washington and Micha Hancock will be at our home opener against Iowa State at 8 p.m. They will be recognized on the court following the second set.
I tried to buy tickets online without any success either for single matches or season tickets.They're selling tickets, so they better let you in.
Took a couple tries for the website to work but it does. If it was football they wouldn’t have gone live with broken links. I got the email to buy tickets and it didn’t work upon receipt of the Email.
Would pay for a pic with Micha. 😘. Where is GT Sports Marketing when you need them?! Putzing around with back up QBs when they could saddle up to some CHAMPIONS.

That was their best match of the season team-wise with almost everyone hitting over .300 for the match. Now, we just need to see some more consistency out of the two transfers, as they have both had a couple of games below the Mendoza line. Parker has been outstanding in every match, so far. Holland has been a pleasant surprise at MB2.

--Holland is a big upgrade over what Gray provided and has more upside potential. Gray was astute to transfer.
--The transfer OH's, Erika and Adanna, have steadily improved since the match lost to GT. They also add better blocking (18 between these 2) and service (Erika has 6 SA, higher than Parker's 4) than last year's team...but I believe that the added options to go to them have aided Parker's high hitting %. I think they both will continue to improve in their Hitting % once Blossom and the OHs work together more. From an article I read, both are very happy with their transfer and and Rose's practice intensity.
--Biggest problem I see with the team right now is that they are committing way too many Service Errors. Despite playing mostly middle of the road teams, we have 44 SEs vs 36 for our opponents. This has to be fixed/improved as we take on tougher B10 opponents. Major reason we lot to GT in the opener.
Oregon beat PSU last night 3-0 in the Big10 vs PAC12 challenge. It was televised on the PAC12 network at 10PM eastern time. It was the worst I’ve seen the Lions look in ages. The team looked disorganized and the defense especially was overmatched by the Ducks’ quickness. Outside of Parker we had nothing going for us. The team looks small at the net and even Parker seems a little undersized. This is going to be a long season.
