Wiltfong with a CB last night for Popeye Williams to Penn State.
Seems as though he's gotten a lot of P5 offers over the past few months, including Alabama.
Hasn't been rated terribly high, but with offers coming in from Alabama and Penn State, I wonder if that'll change.
Intriguing prospect.
After watching Popeye Williams' highlights he looks fast and quick to the ball, and gets off blocks very well, but somewhat undersized for a DE. Listed at 6'3", but unless those other players on tape are all 6'4"+ that might be a little exaggerated.... Is he another H.S. DE that PSU sees as a B10 LB?

Had a chance to watch Flowers and Ivey this weekend. Coming into the game my impression was that Flowers was more of a SAB-type player from Harrisburg. An athlete who was not a polished player. Wow, I was wrong. Flowers is really good.
Ivey impresses every time I see him. He is a threat to score on every play. These two are the kind of kids PSU needs to reel in to close the gap on O$U. They are both big kids with great body control who can run.

I saw Flowers play last year, in fact my nephew (same year group) tackled him in the open field. He is clearly very talented and was physically superior to anyone on the field but he also seems super loose with the ball. That is correctable but it was like a loaf of bread he's swinging around out there. Keep in mind, this was as a 10th grader so maybe he's improved more.

I don't want to put a damper on this as Pribula is putting out some insane numbers but we are talking about York County (Pa) football. The talent level is not upper stratosphere.
