Obviously need to avoid any sloppiness like he had against Miller and not get too excited but obviously Rooks is a dream quarters draw.
I was on the road all day and missed all of the first session and the early part of session 2, so I really appreciate the updates and commentary here. I did somehow forget how insufferable some PSU wrestling fans can be at tourney time though. Sadly, not all of them are the "football board experts" either.

Honestly, every sports fan deserves one Penn State wrestling equivalent in their life.

We miss first 9 secs of match so ESPN+ can show us team scores. SMH. Levi in on single. Scramble. Levi’s finishes. Then Levi defends head lock. Escape after headlock. 2-1 Levi after one.
Levi chooses bottom. Out in 13 secs. Thought Wright deserved stall call for chasing Levi from behind for 10 seconds. Levi shoots and gets a quick TD. 4-2 now. Had Wright flattened out. Really working on top. No stall call? Don’t see ref on screen but it’s gotta be. Levi really worked on top there. 5-1 after two, 1:18 RT.

That's a true freshman up 5-2 in the 3rd and still looks to score. Kids a savage.
Still think Levi looked just a biiiitttt off his usual self today. Been covering him since his time at Biglerville.

I’m watching Levi with my son and he said Levi always finishes the takedown.
Levi does not back up. He's up comfortably late and he's the one looking to score until the final whistle.
Levi gets Andonian in the quarters. Who would have thought SVN would have an easier path to the semis than Levi?
I'll take your word for it but I feel this is just Levi at this stage of his career. He wins a lot of grind it out matches and he's not afraid to.
Unless he hit a turk this year, he hasn't really bonused decent opponents.
Yeah he looked real solid at Biglerville getting pummeled in the State finals 2 years in a row. This Levi is a million times better than any version of him at Biglerville
