Dean chooses bottom. Out immediately. 1-0 Dean. Dean single. Eventually gets the finish. 3-0 Dean. Challenge brick thrown. Taking forever. Call stands. It’s 3-0 with 41 secs left in 2nd. Escape Smith. 3-1. Stalling on Smith for fleeing mat. Questionable. 3-1 after two.

Smith chooses bottom. To his feet but a mat return. OOB. RT is 31 secs. Out on restart. 3-2 Dean. 1:30 to go. Dean in deep but can’t finish. Again but OOB. Another shot from Dean. And another. OOB. Smith shoots. OOB. I think both have a stall call. Dean has a single. Can’t finish. Dean wins 3-2! He’s an All-American again!

Over on the Iowa board, somebody said that Spencer’s parents had bad-mouthed PSU’s coaches for the last five years. Can anybody here expand on that? What did they say about Cael et al? I can’t imagine a D1 coach of Cael’s caliber gives Spencer much of a thought he’s creating a dynasty.
