2025 NCAA tickets

Thanks to @amattaro, I’m in.

Booked a room at Hampden Inn & Suites in Media, PA. $478.98 total for three nights. I know the area well; easy 15 min drive on 476 (“Blue Route”) to 95 to arena.

Thru Priceline. Fully refundable thru 2/27.
Wouldn’t that be in Camp Hill/Mechanicsburg area? 🤓

tickets on sale for general public, nose bleed seats only left
Hopefully my wait list for the suite will come through

That's terrible advice, to recommend buying tickets as soon as possible. The secondary market prices will dramatically decline as we get closer to the event.
That did not happen when NCAAs were in Pittsburgh. In fact, just the opposite happened.

That's exactly what happened. Prices were about $600/ticket for the cheapest seats for a long time before the event. Tickets dropped about a week before the event to about $300/ ticket. This is when I bought. Tickets continued to drop until the day of the event, when many were getting in for $20/ session.

Hard to imagine the Natty's in Philly without a PSU section in the lower bowl ...

per the email to request natty tix - there is some option for a $2100 ticket OR the $415 upper level. Nothing for a regular lower bowl seat.

What are the chances the ticket office held back or gave the lower bowl to insiders/admins/friends ... etc?!?! I'd be curious to know how the distribution was allocated.

I am very high in NLC points and according to Steadman am in the top 5% of donors to the wrestling program. I got the same email you did. I am guessing no schools got blocks in the lower bowl.

We must be twins. I'm very low in my NLC points and Steadman said I'm in the top 95% of donors to the wrestling program. :D

Out of curiosity, where is the 5% coming from/ going to? NLC Wrestling, NLC Levi Lamb (but they know you're wrestling), NLWC, PSWC, other?

A bunch to NLWC in last 10 years cuz I didn’t trust PSU directly, but new relationships had us just make a commitment through NLC targeted at wrestling and volleyball.

Here is an email from the NLWC this morning:

Great Seats for the 2025 NCAA Wrestling Tournament in Philadelphia

The Penn State Wrestling Club purchased a block of 122 club seats at the Wells Fargo Center for the 2025 NCAA Wrestling Championships in Philadelphia, PA. These seats are in Section C17, (see arena map). Included with the club seats is an area with tables and chairs behind where fans can gather and still see the wrestling action. There is a private bar area, but food and beverage are not included. Vendors as well as restrooms are conveniently located. Photos of this Club Seating Area are shown below.

The cost for each seat (which includes tickets to all 6 sessions) is $2,500.

At this time there are only about 20 seats remaining in this Penn State block of Club Seats. If you are interested in these seats or want additional information please contact Jan Oakes at the email address below.

When NCAAs were in Pittsburgh, the cutoff the even apply for seats was 2500 points. Unless PSU received a substantially larger block of seats, i'd have to imagine its going to take a boatload of points to get the 400 level seats.

Yeah surprised they didn’t put a limit on the application process

Same here. I don't trust PSU admin so I give directly and for a specific cause.

Back in the days when I couldn't watch every match I wanted to live on television, I would have never thought about spending $400 in today's dollars per session to see it live. It would have been a hard pass. Now I can watch every match I want and see it very well, so not going has become an easy choice. I'm happy to have seen the 7 NCAAs I've seen in person. I don't think even BJC, MSG or Prudential in Newark will get me there anymore. Philly was tempting, though - until I saw the pricing.

Back in the days, you would see the 2nd period of the 118lb final, totally skipped 1st period on TV.

Fortunate to attend in 1999 at the BJC for my 1st - I vowed never to miss it again! COVID year - I had to watch '21 from home - it was not the same, nothing beats the atmosphere of the city that hosts the NCAAs!

... $415 for uppers, I'll suffer climbing up some stairs to be in the arena!

And this year, I'll be able to remain standing when they ask who has been to 25 tournaments!!!

Happy to help my bros in need. The real surprise comes when you get in building and find out if you won the “Sitting by IRONBIRD” lottery.

If anyone else is looking, let me know and I will see what I can do.
I am looking for tickets all session. Thanks

Maybe you should stop spamming all the threads with the same post about lack of content.
Maybe if you don’t have a good answer you should not reply. It was a simple question, a lot of rude people answering on here.

Well you put the exact same post in multiple threads. And just the fact that you found multiple current and active threads pretty much invalidated the question. So, since we didn’t really see your question as valid you got sarcastic answers.

And BTW, posting the exact same thing in multiple threads is the definition of spamming the forum.

I used to know a few folks in and around the ticket office. According to them, when the Nats were in Pittsburgh, a good number of Admins and Profs were able to “line jump” a boatload of alums with high NLC points (me being one of those who narrowly missed getting seats). When the Championships are in-state more of those with “rank” assert their privileges. This is a flaw in the Nittany Lion Club points scheme.

How apropos

who’s going? Are you buying your ticket now or right before? I’m looking to go to my first championships.

Sooo.. if I need tickets do I post here or on every thread? Asking for a friend I mean emt lol

Has anyone got any notice on their tickets they applied for yet? Prepping for disappointment and my wallet is getting more and more scared.

Was shocked they didn't put a point limit on the application.. When it was in Pgh I think the limit was 2500 to even apply. I would imagine this time they are letting folks apply and will be sending out many rejection emails..
