One of Penn State's finest, LT Micheal P Murphy was lost in Afghanistan along with 10 other Navy SEALs and 8 Army Special Ops during operation Red Wings. Murphy was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions during the battle. Never forget these brave men and all others that paid the ultimate price before and after them.
