I think once they signed Johnson, is was a foregone conclusion Bolden was bound for the G League or Europe. He needs to get big time PT somewhere and it wasnt going to be on the Sixers this season. Cant imagine he doesnt make the roster next year.

Does anyone have confidence that Embiid will last the season? Actually, if I'm the 76ers I only get him ready for the playoffs. In short, play 25% of the regular (practice) season games ONLY.

I know pictures can sometime be deceiving, but Simmons looks a good 2" taller than Lebron in that photo.
KD is a full seven feet. Not sure if true but I have heard Simmons grew again and is taller than 6-10 now .... crazy to think a guy that tall can pass and dribble like he can

I've rooted against him from the jump... I'll be a little dismayed by thisLebron with Simmons tweet, Embiid Shirley Temple reference....
NBA rumors: Dots connecting Cavaliers' LeBron James to Sixers in 2018
According to Sam Amick of USA Today, James could soon bolt if a better opportunity to win a title is out there.
James can become a free agent following the 2017-18 season, and it doesn't take a wild imagination to see him elsewhere - especially if he feels there's a better opportunity for him to win a championship with another team.
Here's where the Sixers come into play.
The Sixers--after insisting on one-year commitments to free agents this offseason--can have max cap space to pursue a free agent next summer. With so much of the league up against the luxury tax, few suitors will be able to offer LeBron a soon-to-be title contender and a max contract.
In a NBA free agency winners and losers column, ESPN's Zach Lowe (along with half the NBA) opined on what the Sixers are up to by hoarding so much cap space.
"They stayed lean for next summer by refusing to dole out multiyear deals, and that has the rest of the league wondering: What exactly are the Sixers up to?"
