A couple of outsider observations

Yeah, blatant OPI. How often do refs actually call it?

We had a very questionable OPI take our first TD off the board against USC... I don't think that game is close if it isn't called. Settled for 3 and then USCs next offensive play was the trick play TD for 70+ yards.

so someone stated that teams have to adjust to how the game is being officiated

I want to know how exactly you can adjust to holding not being called on the opponent's offensive line. Do you simply give up on rushing the passer? What is the adjustment that you can make there?

Different day, different game, different players, different officials. Bang-bang judgement call.
PSU had multiple games where O linemen got flagged for holding multiple times. Not called once Saturday night on the “exact same” plays. That’s football.
Fake News.

Yeah but USC could have gotten a TD in OT if that DPI is called.

Or the play would have offset if the holding they also missed was called. Bigger issue is officiating is a ****ing disaster and they need to take corrective action like making officials accountable.

The refs sucked Saturday night period and the big ten won’t do anything about it

They're not going to do anything about it when they're sponsoring it.

But it didn't quite work out for them on Saturday: they hose-jobbed us into the most favorable draw in the playoff field. Ironic as hell.

Especially given that the games will be officiated by non-b2g crews.

I’m gonna bet that you will still complain about the refs non stop before , during and after your next game Bushwood. 😂

Do tell, what's your O/U under on the # of penalties called on duhO$U by a Neutral crew in their game since your now making betting lines? They were called for a grand total of 2 for 15 yards against PSU. Last year and this year, they averaged something like 4 penalties for 40 ypg in games officiated by b2g clown crews. Then they lose the Cotton Bowl as a heavy favorite to Missouri and the Neutral Crew called them for more penalties, 8, than points they scored in the Cotton Bowl, 3.). duhO$U lost the Cotton Bowl last year as a higher ranked heavy-favorite last year 14-3 to Missouri. This brings duhO$U's all-time record against the SEC in postseason games officiated by Neutral Crews to 2-12 (first game played in 1978 due to b2g's Bowl Rules locking teams out of any Major Bowl other than the Rose until it was eliminated in early 70s). So again, 2-12 against SEC in postseason all-time as the favorite in most of these games - do tell how you explain this.

So again, since your now making betting lines for Bowl Games - could you give me your O/U for number of penalties on duhO$U against Tennessee.

What does that have to do with what I said?

I bet you will complain about the refs. How is that me making betting lines for bowl games?

I bet you're a douche a-hole visiting scUM/traditionalB2G fan.

A poorly officiated game. I would like to think it was incompetence, not bias. Perhaps for a game of this magnitude, 2 more officials would help. More eyes on the game as it unfolds. PSU got the short end of the stick.

1. The fair catch: the returner needs to either make a clear signal of a fair catch or no hand signal at all. It confuses the tacklers. Correct call.
2. The last interception by Oregon: the Oregon defender had a handful of the WR's jersey. That helped him to intercept the ball. Should have been DPI.
3. The refs badly missed a roughing the passer/ unnecessary roughness call on an Allar play. Play stops when the whistle blows.
Poorly is a massive understatement but yes.
