on yesterday:

1) #1 and #87 did not get enough touches. On the few occasions that they did, good things happened.
not sure if they were just not getting open or if the pressure on Trace hurt us here...Kentucky did
have really good CBs
2) When you come out in the Second Half down 3 points and then proceed to yield 17 more without
an answer, winning becomes a remote possibility. We almost did it, but the margin for error
became so slim, that everything had to go just right. Ultimately, our "errors' of not scoring a TD
on our final drive and losing the battle of the four minute drill, sealed the deal for UK.
3) I can't recall that our D forced any turnovers. Combine that with the deplorable ST play...very rarely
results in victory
4) They were a good team with impact players who were difference makers. We came to play a post
season game and our guys played hard. They came on a mission to win and really wanted it.
IMHO those factors spelled the outcome
