Spielberg is so talented. The acting in that movie was top notch. He was somehow able to make child actors seem like seasoned veterans. Thats hard to do.

Jesus, just present your “I’m a liberal pussy” card to make it easy. So sorry for ruffling your feathers. 👆🏿

And btw GFY. Someone who is this big of a bitch likely causes disturbing events at restaurants, gas stations, etc. Probably not accustomed to hearing GFY, although that’s exactly what you need.

Stop projecting. You dug yourself a hole, but for crying out loud, stop digging.

Pro Tip: Not everybody is as tolerant or understanding as I am.

Hey Chief, why was I banned from the forum? What did I say that was out of line? No warning, nothing.
Not sure why you're asking Chief. He gone.

Also, anyone wonder why we haven't heard from NCHawk for a long time? Banned, or left in a pool of his own blood under the bridge? Wouldn't you like to know.

Maybe you can help. Need contact info to find out the reason for the ban. Tia

I just got banned as well after I responded to Turks snarky remark with facts

The skin is incredibly thin over there right now. It's downright hilarious.

No need to restore my rights. I should be better than having to go over there to read (I rarely post) 75% of the posts for a chuckle. I can just tune into any Iowa match and wait for the Terry sideline shot for an equivalent spit my drink out moment.

I thought your response was excellent and showed a lot of restraint (especially for your cranky self).

Wonder if Turk and Chief noticed how dead that board has become since they became mods. They are weeding out PSU fans for sure but the way I see it, Hawk fans don't even really care to post there anymore either.

I wrote this back at the end of August of last year:

I have too much time on my hands today so I decided to count the number of replies for the first 40 threads (the first page of Normal Threads) on Iowa's site compared to here. For the long-running threads that extended back past Jan. 1, 2024, I only counted the replies in 2024. Penn State has 11 of those threads on the first page of threads. Iowa had none on the first page and only three total, which were way back to threads over 100 threads old, so I didn't count them. The final tally was over 10,800 replies here compared to a little under 1,500 for Iowa's site. I am fairly surprised at those numbers. I assumed Iowa's numbers were going to be lower, but not by that much. Also, for transparency, my numbers aren't exact. I did a lot of it in my head and put it to paper, but I generally stand by my numbers, even as a retiree : )

Yeah...it's been quite noticeable.

This time last year, GIA had 20,000 more posts overall than this board since inception. It’s now an 8,000 post gap and quickly closing. When the changeover occurs at some point this year, Iowa will lose another talking point as the most active wrestling board.

I got the ax as well, 😂😂…..but you’re right, the skin over there is super thin, god forbid you challenge or disagree with something over there. Some posters are ok but they have got to have some of the most delusional fans in the sport.

I got nuked for something that wasn’t too bad. Of course I have a way of explaining in a detailed and boring way whether they’re wrong. You could throw in some story how I used to powerlift, I lived in Iowa, why you couldn’t get tasty cakes or Yuengling beer out there and Mrs. T’s pierogies. To in a little bit more bullshit, circle back to something that makes no sense, tell a story about a bar in Bettendorf Iowa, throwing a Culver’s reference, then explain why Penn State is better again.

One of my best post was when I compare Penn State to the SEC in football a few years ago. Then I pointed out that Penn State wrestling actually won more national championships in the same timeframe than the SEC did in football.

I was axed over there on Saturday. The accusation that the entire team was diagnosed with ADD and prescribed with adderall made me lose my shit, but I do not feel I was out of line too far. ( I may have called 2 of their regulars an imbecile and douche knuckle, but I was fairly rational prior)

Eh I got a lifetime ban over there a few years ago for something pretty innocuous I believe (can’t even recall what it was - nothing big, just probably a consistent presence of rational thought that conflicted with their fantasies). Every so often I’ll venture over there anonymously to lurk and remember why Iowa has some of the absolute worst fans in college wrestling (they also have some of the best - it’s just that those ones apparently don’t usually go on messageboards).
