Did anyone see the scuttlebutt on HR re: Bradley perhaps quitting wrestling? Leaves them hurting if Stoll has a setback.

Also makes them a good landing spot for one of the current top Heavies who are entering their junior year.

I saw that. Refrained from answering there to avoid stirring the pot too much.

When he returned from Brazil, he still planned to wrestle. He married a girl from eastern PA this summer, and then they moved to Iowa City. This is his first full-time academic year since the mission (though not sure, maybe he took some part-time classes at home in the spring).

If it's true, then he had a very quick falling out with the sport, and he's moving his new family, and the new family is taking on a significant financial burden (nonresident tuition for 1 or 2, no scholarship, can they find work, etc.).

Conceivable, but I'm skeptical, and just one source doesn't really do it for me. (In fairness, I'm not as familiar with the various posters over there, maybe that one guy is a reliable insider.)

Honestly, though, to me this story is more about Bradley himself than about the Hawks.

I think Brands goes after Schultz hard for 2019 -- and I seriously doubt Bradley's status would've affected that.

I believe it's true. Something like that is refuted very quickly when not accurate.

Gobblin, who I believe made the comment, is considered a reliable Hawk insider.

One thing to get married when you are already living the life but it's another to juggle new classes, a new wife, and attempt to climb back up the wrestling hill. Wish the best for Aaron and congrats on his marriage.
