Yes, we were 5-0 in conference when JoePa was fired. We also had not faced the only 2 teams on our conference schedule which would actually finish above .500 in conference play. Neither had we faced Ohio State (who would go 3-5 in the B1G in 2011).
That 5-0 conference record was fool's gold. If JoePa was around, we would have lost to Wisconsin 45-7, just as much as we did in actual life. That 2011 team wasn't very good. Did you actually watch JoePa's last game against mediocre Illinois???
