that GW is responsible for higher snowfalls because higher ocean temperatures translate into higher moisture content in the atmosphere. Yet they also tell us that GW is responsible for unusual dry conditions in California thus blaming the fires on GW. ???? Wouldn't higher moisture content lead to higher rain amounts, just as it leads to higher snow amounts? So which is it? Is GW responsible for the dry conditions in California and thus not responsible for higher snowfalls? Or is GW responsible for higher snowfalls but not dryer conditions in California?
Also, Trump is ripped for his comments re: poor forest management of California's woodlands as being one of the factors leading to more forest fires. Then we read that Gov Brown has proposed easing requirements to allow land owners to cut trees up to 36" and build roads up to 600 ft without requiring a permit as long as forest thinning is given as the reason, thus cutting down on the fuel for forest fires, just what Trump has suggested.
