Haha, thanks. Since Busiello moved up to 149, it doesn't automatically update future seasons with the weight change. I went ahead and updated those.Buseillo 133?
And Cassar 285 starter?

I removed Cassar's starter status, but I'll leave him on the roster for now until he officially declares that he's not coming back (since NCAA has already granted him the extra year).
Anyone care to speculate on our chances of landing other top guys from 2021 class, such as Van Ness or Figueroa? TIA.
Van Ness is pretty close to a lock at Rutgers.
Figs could flip still.

Ok thanks. I'll listen for the loud boom coming from Jersey for a hint that Ven Ness is signed
It is funny. This grip character is an idiot to say the least. You could dress a monkey in an Iowa singlet and he would swear the monkey is the next national champion. What a moron. Good thing I can't respond to any posts over there wouldn't want to make grip cry again and run to the mods. LmfaoThis subject has 46 posts here, 62 on HR. But they seem to think he won’t amount to much. I do enjoy that.

Is there one in the portal? /sMonkeys are really really strong. A monkey at 125 would be a lot stronger than a human at 125.
Our buddy and HR gem DonHawkeye also weighed in regarding Facundo. That dude is one of my all-time favorites on HR and always worth a read.It is funny. If Penn State wins it all this year, the over confidence you see on that board right now will immediately turn into “of course they won, look at all the big recruits they paid for in their lineup” lolThis is the "He Ain't All That" phase of the HR reaction to Penn State recruiting.
It's often followed in a year or two by the "Of Course He Won an NCAA Title ... He was a Highly Ranked Recruit" phase.
Last I had heard (here, most likely) he was a Princeton lean. You have new information?

where did his dad go? I think it was Rutgers but i could be wrong.
Absolutely huge pick up!! Did not see it coming either. I thought ISU was the front runner with Metcalf being there and thought Michigan was a close second. Not sure what Facundo plans on doing but if he goes greyshirt then redshirt he could plug in right after AB or at 174 if Starocci bumps up once AB graduates. No matter what happens PSU just got an absolute stud.
Looking at other hopeful/potential recruits...
At the lower weights I’m looking at Richie Figs or Stevo Poulin. Figueroa would be such an enormous get but I don’t see him coming. Poulin would be a great consolation and a kid that will most likely be a career 125 which would be nice. Both kids are juniors in hs. Same as Facundo. Another kid around 125 at this age is Joey Cruz from CA. He’s only a sophomore though so could likely grow. Still an absolute blue chipper.
Crookham is next and one that everyone on this site wants to come to PSU. Only a sophomore and has some length so I definitely see him at 149/157 in college. A weight that is needed and by all accounts the type of kid that Cael wants in his program.
VanNess is a junior and although at a higher weight than Crookham this year most see him as a 141/149 in college. Rutgers and Princeton are supposedly the favorites but that PSU is in the mix. Fits a need going forward and would be a massive get.
Does anyone know what is going on with Jesse Vasquez?!?! Kid is a senior who hasn’t committed yet and I’m not sure if he has wrestled since WNO. He has been one of my favorite kids in the country since his freshman year in CA. Type of talent where he could step in as a true freshman at 149 next year.
One other because of family is Bennett Berge. He is a sophomore at 182 in MN. Not really a need weight class but the kid is super talented and you can never have too much talent. No idea what his school list looks like but I’m assuming PSU at least gets a look.
I just focused mainly on 125, 149, and 157 as those are the weights that seem to need the biggest influx of talent. If we happened to sign Figs or Poulin and VanNess along with Facundo we would be set for another huge run of titles.
Possible future lineups

Looks like more titles to me.
Where is Nick Lee?
Graduated. Senior next year.
No they aren’t. This year is 2019-2020, next is 2020-2021, the next is 2021-2022 which is where I started my lineups and the 2022-2023
So it is the year beginning not ending? Great job with the narrative. Very helpful.

I think we should pursue this monkey idea.Just need a career 125 pounder and let's commence the plan for World Domination.
LolMonkeys are really really strong. A monkey at 125 would be a lot stronger than a human at 125.
