SQL and HTML most definitely. I guess Dunke thought I was lamenting the loss of jobs to tech. My concern is the loss of actual journalism—especially at the local level. Aka the foundation of democratic society.

The stadium set unusable for about 4 years. But that is amazing that they have elite kids in all sports there. Allen wrestles in this area a lot. From what I have seen, not only good, but good kids.

A 5,800-square-foot wrestling practice area was added on one side, while a sprawling weight room was added on the other.

Allen HS is the PSU of Texas. They just won their 10th consecutive state title in February.

Ophir Bernstein from Brown came out of Allen. Im pretty sure he AA'd one year.

Ophir was an All-American in 2014 at 184, Placing 8th. Allen, Texas wrestlers must have something in their DNA for destroying dreams of Ohio State wrestlers as in the round of 12, he beat Kenny Courts of OHST 9-4.

As a wrestling state, Texas isn't very good. It's far more notable for football. Here's some statistics;

2010: 1 NCAA qualifier, 0 AA's
2011: 0 NCAA qualifiers, 0 AA's
2012: 3 NCAA qualifier, 0 AA's
2013: 3 NCAA qualifier, 0 AA's
2014: 4 NCAA qualifier, 1 AA's
2015: 5 NCAA qualifier, 0 AA's
2016: 3 NCAA qualifier, 1 AA's
2017: 5 NCAA qualifier, 2 AA's
2018: 4 NCAA qualifier, 1 AA's

Aside from Bo's AA finishes (2016, 2017, 2018), Bernstein AA'd in 2014, and Mueller in 2017. I don't have 2019 data, but do know that Bo and Mueller AA'd from Texas.

Adding it up, the 28 qualifiers and 5 All-American finishes, are 24th and 25th ranked, respectively, for all states. Texas is he second most populous state.

Removing Bo's 3 AA finishes in these nine years, and Texas would be looking up at the likes of Wyoming, Vermont, South Carolina, North Dakota, North Carolina, and Arizona for All-American finishes.

Safe to say Bo has put them on the map, we'll see over time if there's an impact on the state's overall wrestling success. Won't be earth-shattering, for sure, maybe slight blip up.
