Allocations for Nationals

How can Snyder, who there may not be an allocation for, get seeded?
Allocations have nothing to do with seeding.

I think Snyder will get the #3 seed if Stoll can go. Stoll went 12-0 in the conference. Kinda hard to ignore that in favor of a guy who wrestled 3 total matches all year. That said, think Snyder beats Stoll if they face each other.

I do think Rasheed can win more than 1 match. He is very dangerous. Tough decision.

Actually not so, it has nothing to do with whether SR has shown the ability to beat somebody in a one match dual event.....he has also repeatedly shown the inability to continue to wrestle effectively for more than 4 minutes in a single day. So again, if he gets taken the distance in his first match, he has almost no chance in his second match even if he hangs on to win the first. Again, he has shown a significant drop-off in performance once he goes beyond 4 minutes of hard wrestling in a single day regardless of we're talking a dual match or tournament setting.

Feel free to analyze but we aren't scoring more than a few pts at 165 max and that's if everything breaks perfectly regardless of Morelli or Shakur

I'm telling you guys, Rasheed will go up at least 2 weight classes next year. If he's struggling to hold 165, he likely walks around at 185/190. On a 6'2" frame, that makes sense. With an off-season growing and in the weight room, I see him as a 184 minimum next year. My real prediction is that he could challenge for the 197 spot.

For the seeding gurus - Will Cael have to make a case for Nevills not to be matched up against Coon in his first bout? What are the chances one or two (or more) other BIG heavies will be seeded below Nick, given his modest resume?

They may seed only to 8 at heavyweight due to number of qualifiers. It will be random draw for Nevills I believe.

Goldbanger, I assume you are referring to Stoll's injury. Have you, or anyone else, heard anything on Stoll's status for B1Gs?

Agree with that, if we score any points at 165 it's a plus and anything more than 3 would be a really good showing, but......you can't score ANY points at Nationals if you don't go. PSU wrestler will need to win 2 consecutive or go 3-1 in their first four matches to make it past R12 at B1Gs -- I believe GM has a reasonable shot of attaining this level at B1Gs and better shot imho than SR because he just will not be able to wrestle and win this many hard-fought, competitive matches in a single day. GM may well end up placing just outside AQ status even if he achieves this level (e.g., finish 7th or 8th), but I think he would have a really good shot at an "at large" selection if he makes to that level and finishes just outside AQ status (a 7th Place finish for instance) - I think he would be a "sliver standard" as he would probably miss on ranking, but hard to say as he would have to go either 3-1 or 4-2 at B1Gs to finish 7th, no? He would have a pretty good overall record if those circumstances were to unfold and I think have a pretty good shot at an "at large" invite. I think chances of an "at large" drop dramatically if GM doesn't advance past R12.
