Apparently the mods deleted an attack of his on Anison, a good poster who comes in peace once a year. Maybe that's what happened.

I don't miss Bushwood. I am an occasional poster, rarely confrontational. I don't think I have been attacked by anyone on any post other than Bushwood. I have no one on ignore. Bushwood attacked me one time on a rant of which I am sure that he had to be drunk. He went on for 3 or 4 posts, ranting and making things up. If I was next to him at the stadium, he would have been removed. I hope Bushwood is not what people want on this board.
Many of us have been attacked by him. I have been several times over the years. His attacks are usually silly, over the top, and not something to take to heart. As I said, he most likely deserves his permaban. So be it. He was always extra revved up for UM and the referines and often quite entertaining. Too bad he so often lacks self-control and civility. We most likely haven't heard the last of him though. He's already had many board incarnations. Another one won't be a surprise.
The weird thing is he occasionally responds to his own posts and seems to be arguing with himself. I agree he's way over the top but sometimes it's pretty funny if his rants are taken with a huge grain of salt.

My favorite "comeback" of his was fairly recently. I think it was the "Franklin_Restores..." handle--he made an "introductory" post as a "long time lurker" and within the same thread was outed.

You made the mistake of challenging his analysis of X's and O's. He was pretty confident in his judgments and opinions and in his position of authority did not brook opposition.

If a poster has a thread about him that draws this much interest, he should be part of the board community. I seldom responded to his posts because I found them boorish, but he had his moments.
The Preppie has more IDs on this board than Pitt has national championships. I'm shocked he didn't reinvent himself in time for the game. I'll bet his BP spiked at an all time high when that linebacker drilled Trace in the back.

Depends on when he gets “caught”. Gunsie made a brief appearance on Saturday pm, but was summarily “terminated”, which only begs the question.

The most entertaining part of his posts was not what he wrote, which was often boorish as you say. It was imagining him working the posts over, re-ordering the lists of hateful adjectives (is there some way in which "gutless, myopic" is better than "myopic, gutless?"), or seething over his laptop at some imagined slight, or laughing bitterly at some minor error in the post he was addressing which would give him the opening he needed to mock and humiliate the other posters most basic humanity.
I imagine him as kind of like Ted Kascinski, Michigan boy ,except his bombs might hurt your feelings instead of blowing your hands off and blinding you. .
I actually liked the guy. I vote to let him out of jail.

We've lost bushwood and seemingly have lost barry. Tom has not been recruiting well at the OUTRAGE. position lately, and it's beginning to show on the field. Hopefully the young kids will develop.

Now that taking no show classes is no longer an NCAA violation, there is a new effort: message board outragers sanctions. Clearly, these are secret. And there is no appeal. It is possible that Tom has been co-opted and is working with Emmert to limit our freedoms!
Barry and Bushwood are, in this way, being punished for exercising the freedom guaranteed to all of us! This is the greatest outrage of all!!!
