I think Kerk might have been honored last year and didn't feel right getting it again

Period 1:
Here we go! Luke reaches for a leg, but no luck. Luke drops in on a leg, shelves it & trips Bainey to the mat for the TD, 3-0. Luke is working a tight waist & he takes Bainey out of bounds, restart. Bainey is still down & Luke has 30-sec RT. Bainey turns, but Luke holds tight & gets him bellied out. Bainey gets back to his base & gets the escape, 3-1. Tying up & hand fighting. Luke snaps & goes behind for another TD, 6-1. Luke with a heavy ride & Bainey has his head on the mat, then he's bellied out. Bainey works back to his base, but not for long. Luke has an arm barred, but then loses it. Luke goes over 90-min RT. Bainey gets an escape, 6-2. Out of bounds & neutral restart. Luke presses forward. He snaps & is moving Bainey around. Bainey snaps, then Luke hits a slide by for another TD, 9-2 Luke, +1:49 RT
Period 2:
Luke takes down. He gets to his feet, turns & gets the escape, 10-2. Luke shoots quickly, but no luck. Luke shoots again, and again & gets another TD, 13-2. Luke is riding Bainey on the edge. Luke goes over 2-min of riding time. Out of bounds & restart. Bainey is still down. Luke goes optional start & lets Bainey up for the escape, 13-3, 1-min left. Luke shoots, but no luck. Bainey gets hit with a stall call. Luke changes levels & gets another TD, 17-3. Luke has an arm barred, but then loses it & goes back to the cross-body ride. Out of bounds & restart, 17-sec left. Bainey is still down. Bainey turns, but then Luke breaks him down & looks for a tilt, but no luck. Luke rides out the second period.

Bainey takes neutral. Luke shoots & gets a quick TD, for the 20-3 TECH!

Circling & head tapping to start. Garcia shoots, but no luck. Garcia snaps, but nothing. Tying up & hand fighting, 2-min left. Garcia gets to an ankle, but Lopez kicks free. Tying up & pushing. Garcia with a half shot & then back to tying up & circling, 1-min left. Garcia reaches for a low single, but Lopez kicks free. Lopez works a front headlock to end the period. 0-0
Period 2:
Lopez takes down. He sits out, gets to his feet & gets the escape, 1-0. Lopez presses forward. Garcia with some fakes. Garcia drops in on a low single. He shelves the leg. Lopez is bouncing around on 1-foot. He tries to dive out of bounds & Garcia gets the second leg to secure the TD, 3-1. Out of bounds & restart. Lopez is still down. Stoppage for something & we wait for the ref at the table. Back to action. Lopez gets to his feet, gets hand control & the escape 3-2. Lopez shoots, then slips & falls to the mat, but Garcia doesn't react. Back to tying up & circling. Lopez drops in on a low single. He shelves the leg, but Garcia dives & gets to an ankle too. Sometimes Van Ness confounds me. I often can’t tell if he doesn’t look great or if he’s just forgoing the simple option because he’s looking big move.

From my understanding, the answer is yes. The cut he initially suffered was stitched but came open again last time out.
